Every young person is unique, growing up in a web of relationships, making sense of own identity and value.
To enhance public awareness of the changing face and needs of youth in Hong Kong, is part of Breakthrough’s 50th anniversary initiatives. We will be hosting a #HereWeAre themed event from June 6th to June 16th at Tai Kwun, Central. It is our hope to connect you and one another through Exhibition, Youth Dialogue, and Conference, to learn as well as reimagine the future of youth.
Exhibition | 6 – 16/6/2024
The exhibition will present the characteristics and aspirations of youth through a combination of empirical study and art form. It consists of three parts: 1) 50 clay sculptures created by youth; 2) the challenges of growing up; and 3) youth dialogue platform.

Youth Dialogue | 7-10 & 15-16/6/2024
During the Exhibition, 12 young people will share their adventures and journeys on “mental wellness” and “social collaboration”. It will be highly interactive, calling for dialogues and exchange of ideas.

Conference | 7/6/2024
Esteemed overseas and local scholars will share insights and findings on “mental wellness”, and “pathway to future”. Together, we will reflect on youth work with emphasis on youth relational development . By creating space for growth and engagement, young people may be empowered to lead a healthy and authentic life.
